We’ve got a service call over in Spring, TX to unlock a ’07 Chevy Blazer

This call took place over at a middle school just before they were about to let out for the day.  This happen to be a roadside service call thru one of the top companies in the roadside assistance industry, somehow it took longer to actually deal with getting the call verifed than the actual service.  Since we get reimbursted by the company, all T’s and I’s have to be crossed because, if not we don’t get paid, and although we like to help those in need….this is business.  We finally got that straighten out, so now we can get straight to business.

To open the Blazer we’re gonna need the following: wooden wedge, air wedge, and a long reach tool.

Let’s get to work

First we’re gonna start by using the wooden wedge to slightly pry an opening towards the top corner of the door frame.

Next, with the door partially open, we insert our air wedge tool inside and apply air to widen the door opening.

Next we will use our long reach tool to insert into the door to either push the power unlock button or pull back the manual unlock lever shown above the door handle.

We choose to go with the second option and unlock by pulling the manual lock back, it’s more reliable cause certain cars or trucks when equipped with a factory alarm will not allow us to unlock by using the power unlock button.  There you have it another service call in the books,  on to the next one….
